On the Road Again

While the rest of the Blogosphere residing in North America descends upon New York City for BlogHer, I'm heading to New Mexico for FuckHer [Insert clever, far less R-Rated name here].

In short, I'm going to see the Knight.

In New Mexico. (See pretty header? There. Ah... desert.)

I do not go alone, however.

I'll be traveling with my trusty companions also known as my children, as apparently, they want to ruin my funmiss the Knight as well.

(Really? I still can't come up with a less vulgar name than FuckHer? I'm off my game here, people. And it's not because I'm also working in another tab. It's because I really, really like FuckHer and my brain won't come up with something else when it knows it has already achieved perfection. )

In light of the fact I will be traveling with my children and in a state where I will know no-one besides the people I normally reside with (outside of one insanely fun realtor and one army dude) I have what you may call a "child care dilemma" in the event I want to get my Knight alone.

You know, to discuss this ongoing employment issue. What were you thinking? Okay, yes that too.

Actually, I didn't think of this potential pitfall at all until my faithful sidekick Bambi said she wanted to come in my suitcase.

An idea was born.

A travel mate over the legal drinking age was added to the itinerary.

And this is fabulous because technically the Knight will still be at work when we arrive tomorrow afternoon. And again all day Friday.

Look out, New Mexico, I'm invading once again. This time, I'm bringing someone to watch the kids if I want to tear it up. The Knight. (I kid, I kid. Bambi is the Designated Child Wrangler)

You know, in case I want to take that army dude up on his date offer.

(Again, I kid.)

(Unless he's still pissed about this job thing. In which case, I'm calling my very flamboyant realtor in Las Cruces and we're going out to party. I'm mature like that.)
